Daoust, 2016 Entrepreneur of the Year
At the end of the competition organised for over 20 years by EY (Ernst & Young) and the newspaper L’Echo, Daoust was elected as 2016, following on from companies such as Pairi Daiza, Noukie’s, Exki, Stûv, IBA, EVS, etc. The Entrepreneur of the Year prize is the highest award for a Belgian company and rewards the company’s growth, innovation and strategic vision. It also highlights the outstanding work done by our employees day after day. Daoust had been a finalist in the competition for the first time in 2011.
A 3rd generation family company with strong values
Founded in 1954 by Albert Daoust, Daoust is Belgium’s most experienced Human Resources Company. Having run the company for over 30 years, Jean-Claude Daoust handed over its management to his son, Giles, in early 2015. The keys to this successful hand-over are a vision of the future, values and continuity, based on two plans: “We Love Solutions” and “Welcome to the Family”.

As a result of its dynamism and diversification, Daoust has enjoyed double-figure growth over the last few years, doubling in size in 5 years. From a turnover of 10M€ in 1997, Daoust passed the 100M€ mark in 2012, 150M€ in 2015 and is expecting to exceed 200M€ in 2017.
